In this class students will learn how to use a unique painting tool in order to create a textured Christmas tree. We will talk about what texture in art is, and what the difference is between actual texture and implied texture. We will practice layering paint colors to add new color combinations and depth to their tree painting. We will use fine motor skills to glue on colored bead accents. Learners will have the opportunity to design their tree in the manner of their choosing. Learner's will...

-1 piece of white card stock or construction paper -Liquid tempera paint-green, blue, and brown -Paper plate -Plastic fork -Paint brush -Liquid glue -Colored beads-any size, shape, or color -Sequins, buttons, Pompoms, etc -Table covering -Smock
