Class Experience

Animal lovers and artists! Would you like to try something a little different? How about turning an ordinary rock into a cool animal! In this class, you will learn how to paint a cute sloth on a rock. In this step-by-step lesson, we will be mixing our own colors and using different brush strokes to create different effects. In the end you'll have your very own little sloth to use as a door stop, keep you company on your desk, or watch over your room from a shelf!

Learners are encouraged to ask questions, share their work, and chat about sloths! Painting on rocks also helps foster creativity as you learn to imagine different animals coming to life on an ordinary rock! What will you see in the next rock you pick up?

*It is recommended that learners have some basic painting experience before taking this class.*

Please note the supplies list and have everything prepared before class!
