In this one-time class children will have fun mixing colors children will be encouraged to predict what new colors we are creating. We will paint and learn about primary and secondary colors.

Parents do you have a child who loves to paint and get messy? In this one-time class children will have fun mixing colors. We will begin class with a short introduction and simple class rules. We will work together on a color mixing worksheet that we will paint I will encourage children’s creativity by mixing and combining colors to create a new one. Children will use their imagination and paint a picture of their choice and share with the class, only if they are comfortable to share. If time allows, I will read a book, see book titles below. Join me for this fun interactive hands-on learning activities. *Parents this is a messy lesson please have a safe covered area or table where your child can paint

Hello, my name is Anna Contreras, I am a preschool teacher with twenty-five years’ experience. I have experience working with older children six to ten years old as a teacher assistant. I have two degrees, a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and an Associate Degree in Education.
My educational belief is every child has a right to a safe learning environment. As a teacher it is my responsibility to be a positive influence on children's love of learning and to foster their self-esteem. I love working with children, I am animated, silly, and fun which keeps children engaged and interested. In my experience children learn through laughter and silliness.
Teaching tools I use are puppets, music, games, dance, musical instruments, I also use Manycam to display pictures on screen to engage children learning process. Classes I hope to teach on Outschool include early literacy, math and science, arts and crafts, nursery rhymes, music, and dance.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband and I have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and four grandchildren. I love spending time with my two dogs, Marley, and Bella. I enjoy TikTok and learning new dances with my granddaughters.Reviews
