In this 2 week (2 days per week) camp, students will learn interesting facts about the famous artist, Vincent Van Gogh and will complete a painting inspired by his style.

Description
Class Experience
Students will hone painting skills by manipulating paint on canvas and problem solve painting accidents. Students will learn and utilize art terms in their discussions while learning about famous artist Vincent Van Gogh.
Miss Leah is and has been a certified art teacher and a professional visual artist for over 20 years.
The student is expected to complete the parts of the painting lesson that was covered during each teaching session.
masking or painting tape, brushes in various sizes, one large (2.5 inches) flat brush, acrylic paint ( prussian blue or dark blue, light blue or cerulean blue, turquois blue, white, yellow, sap green, black), palette (ex. plastic lid, aluminum foil, plate etc.), cup of water, canvas (suggested size 11x14 inches), Q-tips (optional), scissors, pencil
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
