Class Experience
Discuss of supplies and care of those supplies will be shared. A video will be shared a few days before class in order for students to prep their painting surface with their drawing so we can spend the hour painting! Participants will learn to mix paint colors for their own unique style. Building shape and form with changes in values and hues will be taught as well. For this class two paintings will be taught step-by-step. Students may choose which painting they would like to do during class....
Beginning with drawing step by step a cactus of your choice. Student will learn to mix paint colors to acheive their desired color palette. Building up layers of acrylic form will be taught using a variety of hues and values.
As a lifelong artist and creative influencer I have painted with Acrylics as one of my choice mediums for many years. I love to share what I know and guide students in becoming more proficient in using acrylic paint as a medium. Preparing the painting surface before class so that student can spend the entire class painting.
Canvas or Heavy Paper Flat Paint Brush Round Paint Brush Acrylic Paints - White, Black, Red, Blue and Yellow Water Cup Rag or paper towel
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This is a student led class and instructor will be available for feedback and assistance based on the students needs.
1 hour 25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
