Description
Class Experience
Would you rather paint a picture or learn about a famous artist? In this class, you can do both. You will learn a little about a different famous artist each week and then use their art to inspire our own acrylic paintings while we socialize. Each learner should choose their own paint colors. While there will be a demonstration, creativity is encouraged. Get your reactions ready in case a game of Would You Rather breaks out. The class will be structured as follows: Artist's Backgound...
The learning goals are: Use a famous artwork to create a painting using elements of the famous painting. Creating an original painting using another piece of art as inspiration.

The students will be creating their own works of art inspired by famous works of art. Acrylic paints will be used. They do not like to come out of clothing or other surfaces very well. If the paint gets on the child's skin, it will easily wash off with soap and water.
