Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a passionate artist and experienced educator who believes that painting is more than just putting color on a canvas—it’s a powerful way to express emotions and tell stories. I have been creating art for years as a form of personal healing and self-discovery, and I now share that experience with others through my work as an artist and instructor.
Beyond my own artistic practice, I have over 10 years of experience working with children as a nanny and caregiver, fostering creativity and emotional expression in young learners. I have taught painting classes that focus on translating feelings into art, helping students explore colors, textures, and composition in a way that feels personal and meaningful. My approach is warm, encouraging, and student-centered, allowing each child to develop their own artistic voice in a supportive environment.
While I deeply value the connection between art and emotions, I am not a therapist or trained mental health professional. My classes are designed for creative exploration and self-expression, not as a substitute for professional therapy.
