Art optical illusion is an artistic tradition in which artists create a work of art that appears to share the physical space with the viewer or more broadly the attempt to represent physical appearances precisely. In this class the students will learn how to create a simple volume to add a three dimensional art on a piece of paper. We will follow Victor Vasareli, Hungarian-French artist, who is widely accepted as a "grandfather" and leader of the Op art movement. The overlapping developments of his are named after their geographical heritage and experimented with textural effects, perspective, shadow and light. I will teach them how to draw colored lines and circles to have the feeling of entering into the universe just with pencils and markers. My style is pretty easy, each step includes live demonstration images. Geometry and some simple drafting is included upon logical connection of objects.
Learning Goals
The main goal in this class is students in the class to create the unusual shape with its own expression with a small amount of art tricks. The result is amazing.
