Teacher expertise and credentials
I love teaching and creativity!! I am a wife and mother of four adult children and have two grandchildren. I have taught in our local schools as well as participating in the home-school co-op.
I enjoy working in the community center teaching arts and crafts and cooking classes.
I also love working with the senior care community, teaching a variety of classes there as well.
We have fun with lots of outdoor activities and spending time in our vegetable garden. We love to cook and decorate, travel, read and make art of all kinds. I prefer hands on and creative learning. I like fun projects and real life experiences for learning. I also believe in kindness, encouragement and building confidence that we can do hard things. Some of my children are on the Autism spectrum and I work with children and adults with special needs at the community center. I believe patience and understanding are important ingredients for everyone participating in learning.
I believe its an invaluable asset to impart a dauntless attitude in our children through our own attitude and example.
