Description

Class Experience

Join Nicole for this fun Forest Scene painting in this 1 time class! Nicole will teach this fun class live in her studio in a step-by-step process. Nicole will show each step on her own canvas and guide each student at their pace. Students will create a painting of a Forest along with Nicole and are encouraged to ask questions to further their understanding of art or to have steps repeated.
We will use acrylic paints and brushes to create this painting on canvas or acrylic paper. 

We will do...

Students will improve their understanding of mixing paints to get the desired color. Students will improve their brush stroke techniques to get the desired textured look.

None- Students are welcome to work on the painting after class to add more details

1. Canvas or Acrylic Paper (8x10, 11x14) 
2.Acrylic Paint: Yellow, Green, Blue, Black, and White (If you would like to change the colors of the background- please bring the colors you'd like) 
3.painting brushes – I thick, 1  medium, I thin.
4. Palette(a paper plate will do), paper towel and cup of water
5. Pencil or Charcoal pencil

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
