Every person sees color differently. The more colors you experience means the more colors you will see. In the early years it is so important that children explore color as often as possible to embrace the vivd world around them. In this one time class your young artist will learn how to use primary and neutral colors to create a wide array of colors all on their own. During this live session we will use tempera or acrylic paints to play with the fundamentals of color theory. I encourage lots of questions and discussion on what color is and why. As we start with the basics of primary and secondary colors we will then move to the neutral colors. After that on to the tints, shades, and tones. Further exploring the tertiary and complimentary colors. Everybody has different names for colors and it is so much fun to see just what colors someone identifies in this process. I can not wait to get started!
