In this 4 week flexible schedule class we will explore 4 African American artists and create paintings inspired by their work! Kids will enjoy learning about the artists, creating art, and playing fun games. Perfect for Black History Month!

Description
Class Experience
Each learner will need: - A watercolor set - A brush (any size will do) - A cup with water to clean the brush - Set of crayons (or oil pastels) - Heavy white paper (watercolor paper is preferred but not completely necessary) - Table protection (newspaper, butcher paper etc). - Smock or old t-shirt to keep the paints off of your child's clothing
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents are encouraged to be close by during the classes to help their learner with the painting process to minimize spills (especially with electronics close by!) and to make sure their paints and markers stay on the paper.
We will be using youtube videos from GoodBye Art Academy , Artrageous with Nate, The Magnificant Paintbrush, and State of the Arts.
