Students will follow along with me as I demonstrate this painting on a separate camera. We will start by painting the background and then we'll dry with a blow-dryer. I will demonstrate how to draw flowers on the dried paint with a pencil. We will then paint over the drawing and add several layers on them and then a few finishing details to bring it all together. I recommend this painting after the student has done a few paintings already. Art students that are looking for a challenge to grow in their painting journey will love learning new techniques and color theory in this Daisy painting. 😃 I would recommend my Roses in Vase class first in this "Paint Like an Impressionist" series. 😃 Recommended order of this series "Paint Like an Impressionist " Roses in Vase Water Lilies Cherry Blossoms Daisies

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a full time artist completely in love with creating art , I paint daily and sell my paintings locally and online.
I have enjoyed drawing since I was a child and have always had a sketchbook nearby but never took an art class until my late 20's. One oil painting class and I was off, learning everything I could, using as many art materials as I could get my hands on.
A fearless desire to try new art techniques and mediums has driven me to learn art on my own, no formal training , although I have learned a lot from some talented online art teachers.
It is exciting, inspiring, empowering to learn that you can create something beautiful with just your hands, your mind and a few simple tools.
I would become stagnant if I did not have an outflow for this creativity, so I teach!! I love sharing what I have learned with others. I am willing to teach whatever I am learning and creating so expect a variety of classes.
I taught art in a private school to grades K-12 for 2 years. I have also taught art and sewing lessons in my home. I was a homeschool mom for several years and taught art at our homeschool co-op to ages 6-13.
I think that online learning is a huge asset to the the young artist. Being that I have learned a lot online myself I know from a students perspective.
With close up cameras, a smart pen, sharing abilities in Zoom, printables and whatever else it takes , I am able to really focus the student on what they see, learning to see details and put them down on canvas or paper.
I believe every artist is at a different place in his or her learning process and needs to work right there in that place. No comparisons to others or mine. Mistakes are welcomed and hopefully turned into a new and unexpected beauty in the art.
My hope is that my students enjoy the process of learning and creating art as much as I do and that I can help make that happen.
