Class Experience

Students will learn a quick history lesson on specific artists. They will gain new painting skills as they mimic the popular artist's masterpieces. This camp will elevate your student in their journey as they become a skilled artist. My college professor once told me "It is important to learn from the masters before you go out on your own".
* Various sizes of paintbrushes. This camp will work best with flat, filbert, angle, round, and liner brushes (depending on your student's skill level). You can purchase regular crafting brushes that are high-grade nylon. Just do not use plastic, Crayola brushes! * Watercolor paper or canvas. * Pencil and eraser * Acrylic paint. A standard set of colors will work. Try to have brown, black, red, blue, yellow, green, and white. * A cup of water for rinsing paint off brushes. * Paper towels * A paint pallette * A smock or t-shirt that can get stained.
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I will email the images we will use for reference when painting.
