Description

Class Experience

Students will learn how to paint and create simple drawings using watercolors.
Please gather your painting supplies for class each week. You will need watercolor paper, watercolors, wide paint brush, narrow paint brush, cup of water, a few paper towels, black permanent marker (ex. Sharpie marker) or black crayon.
***Supplies needed for each class*** - Watercolor paper - paper size 9x12 or the size of a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper (please note a regular piece of paper will not work well with watercolors, students will be upset when their drawing is really wet and soggy. I purchase my watercolor paper at the craft store with a coupon and makes it really affordable) - Watercolors Set (you can substitute crayons, colored pencils or markers if you do not have or want to use watercolors) - Pencil & Eraser - Large paint brush - Narrow paint brush - Cup of water - A few paper towels - Fine point Black permanent marker (ex. Sharpie marker) or Black crayon
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
