Don't you just love the solar system?! Before we paint, we will have a quick review of each planets and share out any fun facts we know about The Milky Way. Then, it will be time to get to work! Students will learn how to work with acrylic paint to create a beautiful representation of our solar system. (The planets will not be to scale....because that would be IMPOSSIBLE!) 2 files available upon enrollmentcanvas 9x12 or bigger, canvas paper, or heavy mixed media paper required acrylic paints: black, white, red, yellow, green, blue, turquoise, brown optional acrylic paints: orange, grey, tan, mustard yellow large flat brush medium round brush small detail brush container of water paper towels paper plate (or two) hair dryer or fan *protect your work space *protect your clothing *printed or attachments visible for reference
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Younger student may need assistance with using acrylic paint.
