Description

Class Experience

In this class, students will be painting with watercolor! The students will be following along with me in a step-by-step tutorial while we paint a beautiful fruit basket with a table cloth. There will be a brief introduction to watercolor while we all practice getting a feel for our watercolor paints. During this time students will learn the basics about the color wheel and a color theory. After the introduction, we will do a simple line drawing as an outline for our watercolor painting, then...

Students will be learning how to properly use watercolor paints through practice with different techniques. Students will be learning how the ratio between water and paint affects the color and texture of paint.

Watercolor paint set 
Watercolor paper
3 watercolor brushes in varied sizes (small, medium, large) 
Cup for water
2 paper towels or napkins
Pencil and eraser

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
