I have a bachelor's degree in visual arts from the University of Ottawa and taught art from grades jr K to grade 8 in a school setting.
Each student will need to acquire acrylic paint (white, black, blue, yellow, green and red), 8x10 or 9x12 canvas (or other surface to paint on) and a variety of paint brush sizes. Professional materials are not necessary! These can be purchased inexpensively at dollar stores.
