I have my bachelors degree in visual arts from the University of Ottawa. I taught art in a primary school and a secondary school settings.
Each student will need to acquire acrylic paint (white, black, dark blue, yellow and red), 8x10 or 9x12 canvas (or other surface to paint on) and a variety of paint brush sizes. Professional materials are not necessary! These can be purchased inexpensively at dollar stores.
