40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this 40 minute class, students will paint a funny emu following the teachers instructions, step by step. The teacher will be speaking in French or a combination of French and English depending on the needs of the students. We will practice simple French vocabulary like colors, animals, and basic conversation. The teacher will be painting at the same time as the students, providing a model of the finished work as well. Students are encouraged to show their work and interact with the teacher and other students in French, making it a perfect social event as well. Students will learn about shading and mixing colors. Students will be encouraged to use their creativity to bring changes to their work of art, like the color of the emu. No prior experience necessary.
