Description

Class Experience

In this class I will be your personal painting instructor and teach your child their how to paint a cute penguin using acrylic paint on a 5x7 canvas. The process will be step by step so that everyone can feel successful with their creation. A simple template of the chick's face is included for printing out and tracing onto the canvas. We will cover simple painting techniques using flat and round paint brushes. I will also go over brush care so that students can keep their paint brushes in tip...

Besides having fun and socializing with friends, participants will learn acrylic painting techniques and proper care of painting supplies.

  1 file available upon enrollment1  5x7 canvas
1 flat paintbrush (size 1, 2, or 3)
1 round paintbrush (size 1 or 2)
1 Acrylic Paint- Black, white, light blue, orange, & 3 colors of your choosing for the hat & scarf (I used light green, pink, & magenta)
Paper Towel
Paper plate 
1 hair dryer
Old shirt, smock, or apron 
Table covering

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
