This is Halloween! In this class we will paint a fun and spooky watercolor Haunted Mansion! Learners will use oil pastels or crayons to draw the creepy scene. Then we will paint with watercolor paints to create a spooky night and huge spooky moon! Though the final masterpiece is an intricate design, we will break it down to simple lines and shapes. Though I describe the scene as spooky or creepy, the class is focussed on fun in creating this Halloween themed project. If your learner wants to get into the Halloween spirit by wearing a costume to class, that's great! Here are a few guidelines: 1. Masks are welcome, however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies. 2. Please note that costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc.).
