I will present to students about the natural history of the American Paddlefish, morphology, conservation and overall biology of this prehistoric fish. Students will learn through a fun and interactive lecture accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation and a video I made while working for South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks. I encourage learners to ask questions about the topic as we learn about a unique fish that many people do not know exist!
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the natural history of the American Paddlefish, morphology, conservation, and the overall biology of this prehistoric fish. This will provide students an understanding of the species and why conservation efforts of these creatures are important.

A Powerpoint presentation will be provided on Zoom. We will also be watching a video I made while working with the American Paddlefish to further discuss this fascinating animal.
