Description

Class Experience

Pac-Man is HUNGRY! In this class, students will learn how to compare decimal values using the clear and effective "Pac-Man Strategy". First, I'll model the strategy and check for basic understanding. Then, students will solve problems with my help at first, gradually completing more on their own as they become proficient. We'll then share and discuss our answers as an informal assessment. Finally, we'll design our own personal "Pac-Man" boards with built in problems to quiz our families!...

Students Need:
-Paper and a pencil OR a whiteboard and marker
-Blank white paper and "Pac-Man" color crayons or markers for game boards

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
