The purpose of this course will be to teach the student about the P 47 Thunderbolt aircraft, its historical significance during World War II, facts about the different variants of the aircraft, and how the aircraft was used in combat operations. The focus will be on the historical facts about this aircraft and how it served in the war as a fighter and ground attack aircraft. There will be an attached note-taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There is also a short video of the P 47 aircraft and its history during WWII. The teacher's desire is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework in this class, and the teaching style will be lecture via PowerPoint material with a few questions asked of the students.

Parental Guidance
There will be no overt violence or graphic images displayed in the class. There will be an approved You tube video watched in the class but no need to have an account as this will be watched in the class.
