Students read stories from levels 1 - 16 and the Non-Fiction collection. Level 1 and 1+: 60 stories Level 2: 36 stories Level 3: 30 stories Level 4: 30 stories Level 5: 24 stories Level 6: 11 stories Level 7: 18 stories Level 8: 12 stories Level 9: 12 stories Level 10: 12 stories Level 11: 19 stories Level 12: 9 stories Level 13: 7 stories Level 14: 8 stories Level 15: 4 stories Level 16 : 2 stories Non-Fiction: 41 stories (L1+ - Level 6) Each story comes with an accompanying audio file and a homework exercise which I will share with you. Stories from levels 2 - 9 come with an accompanying video in Chinese to help ESL students to better understand the stories context. We practice long and short vowel sounds, blending, reading multi syllable words, digraphs, diphthongs, sight words. If time allows, we will also discuss each illustration in the book and practice conversation related to the topic in the story.
