Students practice reading, speaking, listening, grammar, and writing using the 2nd edition of the books. This 25 minute class is recommended for books 1 & 2, but it can also be suitable for higher level books.

In this class, students learn to read, speak, listen, and write. Each section of the book has 2 units. Section 1: Unit 1 and Unit 2 Section 2: Unit 3 and Unit 4 and so on… It takes 7 classes to complete 1 section Unit 1 Class 1: Student book: words, read, and comprehension Homework: grammar book. Complete all of one unit. Class 2: Grammar book: review homework mistakes and read. Homework: workbook (communicate, words, writing) Class 3: Student book: (words, listening, speaking) Homework: workbook (words, read, and comprehension). Also, listen to the audio file for the next story in the student book we will read together during the next class. The next story will be the story in unit 2 of the student book Unit 2 Class 4: Student book: words, read, and comprehension Homework: grammar book. Complete all of one unit. Class 5: Grammar book: review homework mistakes and read. Homework: workbook (communicate, words, writing) Class 6: Student book: (words, listening, speaking) Homework: workbook (words, read, and comprehension). Also, listen to the audio file for the next story in the student book we will read together during the next class. Class 7: Writing and Spelling book Homework. Complete 1 unit from the book.

I have completed book 1 a total of 7 times.

I have completed book 4 once.
I don't have a lot of experience teaching books 5 - 6. Once students are comfortable on book 4, I recommend them to study Reading Explorer and Great Writing.
