Students will be led in a guided discussion about the characters, plots and setting of The Owl Diaries. First, we will review the how to's of polite discussions: turn taking, respectful listening, raising your hand and more. Then we will go through a series of guided discussion questions all about Eva Wingdale and her owlriffic life. From plot, to characters, to setting, we will cover it all! We will also make some text-to-self, text-to-text and text-to-world connections. We will finish the...
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Google Slides will be used to present the discussion and trivia questions in a screen share (students do not need Google Slides and will not be accessing it on their own).
