Assignments
At the conclusion of the class, students are encouraged to complete a worksheet titled "My Plan." The instructions for this task are provided alongside the assignment.

Class Experience

NO LIVE CLASSES

All children are welcome in my classroom! I teach in a fun, interactive way so students stay engaged and attentive. During the class, I post the weeks video on Monday morning central time and the class discussion post on Wednesday’s. You can answer, ask questions and comment on the classroom page or private message me. I am always happy to help! This class is not therapeutic in nature and students will not be asked to share private information. No homework will be given. Students will be asked to watch the video as well as engage with the discussion posts.

Over the eight weeks in this class, we will be discussing these main points.

- Fear of failure
-Uncomfortable emotions
-Fear of being judged
-Confidence mantras
-Resiliency skills
-Overthinking
-Self-reflection
-Releasing anxiety

As well as things we need to "unlearn" that cloud our judgement and lower our self-esteem. Sometimes we get one thing, good or bad, stuck in our head and we cannot shake it. We take a small issue and our imagination runs away with thoughts and feelings that do not serve a positive purpose in our lives. In this class we will not only go over what is listed above, but we will also discuss types of rest. If our mind is full of negative or unproductive thoughts, we not only cannot sleep, but we cannot rest! This can affect every aspect of our lives as well. 

 The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.
