Central New York Chess Central New York Chess is a New York State registered Non-Profit Organization, and an affiliate of the US Chess Federation. Our classes are primarily directed at elementary & middle-school-aged children. We've been teaching these classes locally for years, but now are excited to share them with the rest of the world thanks to Outschool! Teacher Karly I love building relationships with all my students. It's important to build that foundation of trust, safety, and comfort. I truly believe that the best learning comes when it's fun, engaging, and relatable. Before staying home with my children, I taught 5th grade where I enjoyed teaching all levels and learning styles within my room. For the past 3 years, I have been able to continue teaching online while being home with my children. I currently teach ESL to all levels and ages of children. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in ESL.
All supplies will we provided upon enrollment.
