Class Experience

This class is part of the Outschool Pods program and is intended to build learner community while covering a full-semester's curriculum. We will share additional links for future months upon enrollment. To learn more about Outschool Pods, please visit: www.info.outschool.com/outschool-pods 

We will be meeting five times a week for 3 hours a day to cover all the core curriculum and more. We are excited to offer this pod opportunity to really get to know our families and learners. These pods...

We will cover the standards for Algebra 1, Language Arts, US Civics, and 8th Grade Science for your student over the full year

We have certified educators, college professors, and native speakers of the foreign language to work with you to
build the perfect core curriculum for your learners.

With this being core curriculum, there is the expectation that homework will be completed and submitted so that our teachers can assess and ensure we are getting our students to mastery level of these standards.

We will provide printouts and online fulfillable forms throughout the classes

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:blended play
kahoot

15 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will use source text such as the Bill of Rights, Magna Carta, the US constitution, Icivics, DC and marvel Comic Books, Shakespeare and much more.
