Description
Class Experience
Mrs. Amy I am a retired elementary school teacher. I have 10 years of classroom teaching experience, and 3 years of online teaching experience. I have taught all subjects for grades 1-5, as well as ESL both in the classroom and online. I have 3 children, a cat, and a dog. I love the outdoors, art, and meditation. I am a huge advocate of growth mindset thinking Mrs. Maria I am a retired teacher with more than 30 years of experience in education. I have taught all academic subjects for grades K-5 including STEAM and Art. I have a Master’s degree in Emotional and Behavior Disorders. I am a wife and mother. I have two grown sons. I also have two dogs, and a cat. I enjoy reading, art, camping, white water rafting, and crafting. My favorite thing in the world is a smile.
Movement supplies: Comfortable clothing and room to move. Art supplies: pencils, erasers, drawing paper/canvas/ watercolor paper, acrylic paint or tempera paint, a palette (this can be a paper plate or a palette for painting), a cup of water, paper towels, something to cover the work surface when painting, and something to protect clothing when painting.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The paintings will include summer-themed paintings. Younger students may need help opening their paints.
