Description
Class Experience
I have a degree in Business Administration and Education with certification in Applied Behavioral Analysis. This education combined with my 15 years of classroom, online and homeschool experience provides me with the skills and experience to guide children to be successful. I'm known for my fun and interactive teaching style. I love to interject smiles and laughter into the classroom. Building confidence is the key to creating a successful learning environment so my classes are filled with positive encouragement. My passions include art, writing, animals, traveling, and child growth and development. You will see these themes in the classes I teach.
Handouts will be provided at the beginning of the week for the upcoming lessons. Students should have the following supplies for every class: Glue stick or white glue Crayons, markers Pencil and eraser Scissors - Parental Guidance is required for the use of scissors for younger students Several of the classes may require a few additional supplies such as paper bag, cotton balls, string etc. In a few of the classes You Tube videos may be shared with the students to support learning.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
