Description
Class Experience
Welcome to our pod! Each teacher brings unique gifts and talents to share with your learner, but they are all fun, energetic, and engaging. Tiara, our reading and life skills teacher, will work hard to inspire confidence in even the most reluctant reader. She will ensure your learner feels heard and understood. Emphasizing interactive learning and a hands-on approach, Autumn has a passion for African American studies. She teaches history. Open Discussion and engagement are what our teaching team is all about. Some of us are homeschool moms, and some have many years of classroom experience. We all have extensive knowledge and experience to share. We share a passion for reaching each learner and unlocking their potential.
Students will need paper, print outs, coloring tools, and pencils in class. Any other supplies needed will be easily accessible and will be listed in the classroom at least a week ahead of time. Books: 1 - Beezus and Ramona 2 - Ramona the Pest 3 - Ramona the Brave 4 - Ramona and Her Father 5 - Ramona and Her Mother All of these books are written by author Beverly Cleary.
4 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
