Ms. Jordan I have been teaching French and reading skills and comprehension for 3 years. I have my TEFL certificate and I am currently in college working towards my Bachelor’s in French. I have five younger siblings who I adore, and in addition to teaching, I babysit for local families. I enjoy music, singing, guitar, reading, ballet, and working with kids! Mrs. Amy I am a retired elementary school teacher. I have 10 years of classroom teaching experience, and 3 years of online teaching experience. I have taught all subjects for grades 1-5, as well as ESL both in the classroom and online. I have 3 children, a cat, and a dog. I love the outdoors, art, and meditation. I am a huge advocate of growth mindset thinking Mrs. Maria I am a retired teacher with more than 30 years of experience in education. I have taught all academic subjects for grades K-5 including STEAM and Art. I have a Master’s degree in Emotional and Behavior Disorders. I am a wife and mother. I have two grown sons. I also have two dogs, and a cat. I enjoy reading, art, camping, white water rafting, and crafting. My favorite thing in the world is a smile.
Math Supplies: - Paper - Pencil - Any worksheets will be provided by teacher Reading Supplies: - Raz-Kids books will be shared through a screen during class The following books will be read by students outside of class, and must be purchased or borrowed: - Stuart Little by E. B. White - This Is How We Do It : One Day In The Lives Of Seven Kids From Around The World by Matt Lamothe - Wonder by R. J. Palacio - National Geographic Kids: Together Forever by Mary Quattlebaum Writing Supplies: - Pencils - Erasers - Paper - Color crayons/markers/pencils
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Our reading portion will sometimes include books from Raz-Kids, which will be shared on screen for learner safety.
