Where does light go when it breaks the law? ***to PRISM!!!*** Hello!! I love outer space, and no matter how old I get, I still enjoy discovering new things about it. This 4-part space camp is a follow up to my original space camp. I'm back with 4 new lessons for Part 2! This journey takes the students on a deep-sky dive into our solar system. They will learn about and discuss the International Space Station, the Apollo program, star constellations, and black holes. It's important to know that attendance to Part 1 is not required or necessary to enjoy the benefits of Part 2. Each space camp covers its own separate topics and discussions. 🌏🚀✨ I like telling jokes to get and keep the kids involved in the conversation during lessons. I will always encourage an educational discussion and promote curiosity with the students. I will lead the discussion but will also ask their thoughts on what we're learning throughout the class. Whether it's a one-on-one class or a group environment, my number one goal of every session is to inspire a love of learning new things. I will issue a Blooket game after every class (no student account needed! 😉), which is always optional, but always encouraged. **Classes will be around the 45 minute mark, but sometimes we go over if there's a lot of questions. 😊 1st class: International Space Station 2nd class: Apollo program (Moon landings) 3rd class: star constellations 4th class: black holes
Learning Goals
The main goal of this class is to launch a lifetime of space curiosity for these students. Students will discover new details about space exploration, star constellations, and black holes.
