Description

Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of ocean life and the importance of the oceans.  Learners will be introduced to ocean water, ocean animals, fish, sharks, and whales.  Learners will complete a simple experiment to demostrate it is easier to float in sea water. 
No homework outside of class

Worksheets and fact sheets will be provided for download to be completed in class. 
 1 file available upon enrollment
Student will need a clear jar of mug, an egg, warm water, salt, and a spoon for class experiment. Worksheets are provided for download to be completed during class. Something to write with and write on for use during class. (pencil/marker, paper/white board)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will use some information from, Ocean Life, by School Zone.
