In this ongoing class, students will learn the location of the states and their capitals. We will also learn how the state joined the Union, its fun facts and much more. Did you know there is a state that has a pennant shaped flag? We will also discuss how each state got there shape. There is so much to learn about our vast country. This class will be ongoing and we will explore a region at a time: States of the Northeast Region (11 States) - February 13th and February 20th States of the Southeast Region (12 States) - February 27th and March 13th States of the Midwest Region (12 States) - March 20th and March 27th States of the Southwest Region (4 States) - April 3rd States of the Western Region (11 States) - April 10th and 17th Kahoot For the Completion of the 50 states - April 24th The class will be interactive and engaging. Students will view photos and videos about different states. We will have discussion about the new facts we learn. All types of learners are welcomed. Hope to see you soon in class. Blank political map of the United States of America. I have added a website for you to download a free printable blank U.S. map. Colored pencils.
