Our Solar System: A Learning Game
In this one time class, students will learn about the the sun, the planets of the solar system and information about each planet. Students will work together to answer trivia questions at the completion of our learning.

What are the planets in our solar system? Are there eight or nine planets? In this class, students will learn about each planet of our solar system and their location in reference to the sun. They will learn through lecture, class discussion and trivia questions in this class. Students can practice reading their skills by taking turns reading the information on each planet. They will also learn general information on our solar system such as what happens when the sun burns out?! Students will work together to answer trivia questions based on information we discuss in class! We will also briefly discuss the name of each Roman/Greek God/Goddess that the planets are named after.

Hi! My name is Lauren and I live on the east coast of the United States with my family and our two dogs! I hold a Bachelors Degree of Science in Rehabilitation and Human Services and am currently earning my Master’s Degree in Education. I love all things English, Science and History!
