Description

Class Experience

Students will learn the following vocabulary: Universe, Solar System, Planets, Sun, Moon, Stars, Orbit, Gravity. 
They will also learn How the Planets and Moon Orbit and How Gravity works. Students will take turns reading in class from the power points provided by the Teacher. We will also have discussions about what we have learned. My goal is to give students time to think about why all of these things are important to us and how we use them to live each day. We will enjoy open-ended...

Use Vocabulary words to identify meaning and correctly use them in sentences. 
Be able to talk about the way Planets and Moon orbit. 
Discuss how gravity works and its importance.

We will have a short match game of vocabulary. We will also have open discussions answering questions during class to allow the teacher to gauge the understanding that the students have.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
