Class Experience

In this class your child will be taught more advanced phonic skills using the Orton Gillingham multi-sensory approach to learning. Students will learn how to listen for the sound, read it within a word, write it down, and find it within a text. This class is a good fit for students who already know the basic phonic skills such as they letters sounds, vowels, blends, & digraph. Having this background knowledge will help them be successful in learning these higher level phonics skills.

They goal of each class is to master a certain phonic skill and be able to use it in writing.

Each student should have our worksheet, crayons/ markers, a white board and expo marker ready to go during our lesson.

Every student will be informally assess during our lesson.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We may use Nearpod as a way to assess during our class.
