Class Experience
Orton Gillingham is a multisensory approach to phonics that was designed to help students with dyslexia and reading based difficulties. This introductory class for beginners, helps children develop phonemic awareness. Children will be instructed in basic phonemes (single consonants) with the use of on-screen phoneme cards. They will then have the opportunity to play bingo together, practicing the phonemes they have learned. This class does not involve any writing, however students...
