Description
Class Experience
Dr. Lopez is an ecologist. She has research experience and has taught a course in Tropical Biology.
There is NO mandatory homework. Learners are encouraged to come to class prepared to discuss the bird of the week. Learners can prepare by researching the bird of the week before class.
I will provide weekly handouts with questions on the organism of the week. If the student want to put together a handwritten book on birds, they will need access to printer, paper, 3-ring binder, and pencil/pen. If the student want to put together a digital book on birds, they will need access to Microsoft Word to complete the handout.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
