55 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This class is for those with some experience in origami. We will be learning the sink fold in this pattern. The stars we make can be used to decorate trees, presents, or homemade cards. We will work on this pattern together, taking the time we need for learning the sink fold. Depending on time, we may be able to make multiple stars. If you can comfortably fold a traditional crane with directions, you have the experience you need! If you are unsure, let me know. I am willing to work with any level to make these awesome stars! If you have a learner that is younger, please check out my class for younger students, making the same stars.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the sink fold while making these stars.

Supply List
The only necessary supply is multiple square pieces of paper. These can be origami paper, printer paper, construction paper, giftwrap, or thinner scrapbook paper. I would avoid cardstock or other types of thicker paper. I use 6x6 inch paper, and I recommend using a similar size. If you want to make it into an ornament you will need a hook, string, or ribbon as well as the ability to make a hole. I find pushpins are an easy way to make a hole for a hook.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
