Origami Creations for Beginners
Get out your paper and learn the basics of the ancient art of paper folding! We will learn how to fold 2-3 awesome creations with increasing difficulty.

US Grade 4 - 9
Join us as we learn an introduction of origami history and the basics of this art of paper folding. Each week we will create two or more paper creations. Instruction will include multiple examples to ensure clear understanding. However moderate fine motor skills and spatial awareness are highly encouraged to reduce frustrations. Throughout this self paced course we will learn a brief history tidbit about origami and then jump right into the folding. Follow along as I demonstrate step by step instructions for how to make each fold. The course will also include handouts sent at enrollment for pictorial instruction to aid in mastery. I hope to "see" you in this self paced course that allows your student to learn a fun new skill at his/her own speed!

Pre-Requisites
Students must have moderate fine motor skills as well as spatial awareness in order to follow along and minimize frustrations in this beautiful art.
Supply List
Students will need to purchase origami papers. Large packs can be purchased for relatively cheap through Amazon.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
