Get ready for an exciting visual curiosity-sparking adventure through the incredible human body! In this exciting class, your student will become a young scientist as they explore six of the body’s most important and fascinating organs: the brain, heart, lungs, stomach, kidneys, and pancreas. Each lesson is designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and full of discovery! Students will learn how these organs work together to keep us thinking, breathing, digesting, filtering, and living strong and healthy lives. Through fun visuals, and easy-to-understand science, your child will gain a deeper appreciation for how amazing the human body truly is. Each lesson video is between 12-15 to keep students engaged while providing them with an abundance of exciting information. 🚨🚨🚨This is a self paced schedule class with all lessons pre-recorded. There will be no live meetings. 🚨🚨🚨
Syllabus
6 Lessons
over 6 WeeksLesson 1:
Brain
In this lesson, students will explore the brain, the body's control center. They’ll learn how the brain sends messages, helps us think, move, feel, and remember, and discover the different parts of the brain and what each one does.
Lesson 2:
Lungs
In this lesson, students will learn how the lungs help us breathe by bringing oxygen into the body and removing carbon dioxide. They’ll explore how the lungs work with the diaphragm and other parts of the respiratory system.
Lesson 3:
Stomach
In this lesson, students will discover how the stomach breaks down food using muscles, acid, and enzymes. They’ll learn about the stomach's role in digestion and how it just a part to of the digestive system.
Lesson 4:
Pancreas
In this lesson, students will learn how the pancreas work as a part of the digestive system to digest food and turn it into energy. They’ll explore how the pancreas releases special juices to help with digestion and blood sugar control.
