Ordinal Numbers Christmas Special: The Twelve Days of Christmas

This class focuses on the math concept of ordinal numbers, with a literary element as we read the text from a version of the song The Twelve Days of Christmas. We will sing The Twelve Days of Christmas as a group before we introduce the ordinal numbers from first-tenth. We will practice the ordinal numbers by playing a short group game. Each student will be able to test their knowledge individually by taking turns answering questions during a second game. We will end class by taking turns reading text from The Ten Days of Christmas.
