Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 8
In this session, students will work with digital task cards that will be displayed through screen share. As a class, we will review step by step on how to input real numbers in a table and have the calculator order from ascending/descending order. I will display the steps via Google slides and demonstrate with my calculator how to input and order.
The real numbers that will be included in a set: Square roots, exponents, fraction, mixed number, integers (negatives), and decimals.
If the student is new to this topic or needs a refresher, the class will go at a pace where students can understand and ask for clarifications.
We will try to go through as many task cards as time permits. Students will have the opportunity to share/discuss their responses if comfortable.
Learners must have a graphing calculator to follow along.
