The class will learn how to write an expression, solve it in order. PEMDAS i.e. is a collection of rules that reflect an agreement about the first steps to take to solve a problem. This is not solving a problem from left to right but solving problems in order of operation with the knowledge of PEMDAS. There are different acronyms that helps that also helps students to remember and this will also be learned in the classroom. There will be exercises to show understanding at the end of the class. There will be room to ask questions as we go and also play games that further enhance understanding of the topic.

Scrap paper and pencil to take notes. We will be playing Kahoot it at the end of each class.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi! I'm Mrs. Opeyemi Olanipekun (though my friends love to call me Mrs opi). I am passionate about teaching having been raised by a teacher. I am super excited to meet your child. I love teaching preschoolers and elementary students. My best subject is mathematics though. I have Masters Degree in Educational Studies and l have over 20years of experience in teaching. I am presently in the process of obtaining my MAT in Early Childhood Education. I believe learning should be fun, so all my classes are interactive and fun. I teach children from different countries online as well. I am looking forward to having fun with your children.
