Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 8
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this course, students will embark on an exploration of the order of operations, a critical concept that dictates the sequence in which operations should be performed in mathematical expressions. Through engaging videos, interactive practice exercises, and fun quizzes, learners will deepen their understanding of the rules, known by the acronym PEMDAS.

Learning Goals

What Students Will Learn:

Understanding and applying PEMDAS: Students will learn to correctly apply the order of operations in varied and increasingly challenging scenarios. Each section is designed to build on previous knowledge, reinforcing learning and encouraging mastery.

Critical thinking in math: By solving different types of problems requiring the order of operations, students will develop their problem-solving skills, enabling them to approach mathematical challenges with strategic thinking and precision.

Self-assessment and paced learning: With self-paced modules, students can move through the material at a speed that suits their individual learning needs. Frequent self-assessment points allow students to check their understanding and ensure they are confident before progressing.
